Fisher River Jordan’s Principle is rooted in the fundamental belief that every child deserves equal access to quality care and services, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Program Services

The Fisher River Jordan's Principle Program offers a comprehensive range of services to support the well-being and development of Indigenous youth in the community. Services include formal and informal assessments to identify needs, both internally and through external referrals. The program acts as a liaison with the Charles Sinclair School and High School, providing resource materials and coordinating health care services.

Additional Services

Fisher River Jordan's Principle Program provides additional services to support Indigenous youth, including transportation through the Fisher River Health Services, continued support from the Charles Sinclair School and specialists, and parent training and education. The program offers services with both Western and Traditional Medication options, recognizing the importance of cultural sensitivity and individual choice in healthcare.

External Supports

Fisher River Jordan's Principle Program collaborates with external services to provide a range of essential support for Indigenous youth. These external services include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech/Language Pathologists, Behavioral Specialists/Analysts, M.A.T.C., MFNERC, Social Services, the Fisher River Fitness Centre, ICFS, Pediatricians, and other service providers as needed.
